Audience questions submitted to the Swami for his wisdom concerning the questions asked

Kristen
: My husband cheated with my best friend. Who betrayed me the most?

Swami: Seems like you've had a plague of locusts in your life! Doesn't matter now. They both betrayed you. Cast them out into the dessert without any comfort at all. And make sure you take all his sheep. That will show him! What is a sheep herder without his sheep? He and your ex-friend are both losers. They will live a very loser life together. Let your heart find a new oasis that is real and comforting to you.

Sue
: How do I over come my vision of what I really want verses what I have?

Swami: Buy some rose colored glasses and appreciate what you do have.

Joy
: I have a friend I have known for over 40 years. She was not spoken to me for the last 13 years. I have tried several times to regain our friendship. Sent birthday cards, texts, etc. but still she has not responded. I would like to know why. Should I pursue or should I just let it go?

Swami: Snap out of it! For 27 years you had a best friend. It's way past time to get another best friend. When she wants to talk to you again she probably will.

Denise
: Why is it so hard for men to show their feelings?

Swami: Most men are raised to repress their feelings and just do "manly" things. As my mom used to say "As the date twig is bent so grows the tree." Men are just little boy that grew into a larger body. Never forget that!

Sue
: What do you do when you want your ex husband or boyfriend back but it didn't work out the first time?

Swami: Seems like you have regrets. Best thing to do, if they found someone else and are out of your reach, is to find another ride. Or, become gay and find a girlfriend so you don't have to be concerned with guys ever again!

Caroline
: My mother is a narcissist. I always forgive and forget until the last time she said to me "I could care less if you hung yourself". Should I forgive and forget?

Swami: Be like a camel and not like an elephant. Camels just put one hoof in front of the other and move forward endlessly. Elephants never forget. So just be a camel. Forget the elephant!
